Washers For Wellness

Washers for Wellness Inc. (Tax ID# 02-0692829), is an all volunteer non-profit organization founded in 2003 to support Pulmonary Fibrosis Research. With the generous donations from various organizations we have raised almost $20,000 in 3 years to help find a cure for Pulmonary Fibrosis. The organization is hosting our 4th Annual Washers for Wellness Tournament at Deer Creek Park (Maplewood, MO) on June 3, 2006 from 10:00am-6:30pm. For an entry fee of $25 per person, each participant will receive at least 3 games, premiums, food, beer, and raffle tickets. All proceeds, after expenses, will go directly to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.

“Washers” is a backyard game similar to horseshoes. The game is played with 4 people (2 teams of 2 persons) who attempt to toss washers (small round disks 1″ in diameter) into a wood box placed on the ground 25 ft apart. This is a favored game among St. Louis BBQs and creates a day of fun for all participants.

In the past we have had between 300 - 350 participants and hosted the tournament at Kirkwood and Forest Parks. With our continual growth we have moved to Deer Creek Park where we plan to stay for many years to come. This year, we already have many teams registered and are anticipating over 400 participants in total.

We are currently offering two sponsorship levels:

• Washers Box Sponsor - For the donation of $100 we will name your company as a washers set sponsor as well as special thanks on our Thank You banners. In lieu of numbers each set is branded with our sponsor’s name and/or logo to further acknowledge everyone for their generous donation. We will also include a 120×60 banner advertisement on WashersForWellness.com linking to your website. We understand that company logos are very proprietary, so please let us know any specific requirements.
• Team Sponsor - For the donation of $50 you may sponsor a team of your choice, or a team chosen by the Washers for Wellness committee.
